The project around water species in Lake Pupuke proposes the creation of a cleaning station. Lake Pupuke, located in North Shore Auckland, they face a growing threat from invasive species like algae that disrupt its delicate ecosystem. Throughout my research proposal, I realised that the urban space of lake Pupuke cannot co-exist with algae (didymo) beneficially. My solution aims to mitigate this issue by establishing a comprehensive cleaning station at key entry points to lake Pupuke to stop the spread of algae as my species.

For this design, my team researched our chosen case study, For the Love of Bees. Our team has identified problems that we have encountered during our case study research and different methods to approach these issues. We've come up with a fee proposal, an execution plan, and a timeline we will follow throughout our project.
